1. When I meet someone new, I do a mental calculation to see if telling them I worked for HRC is a good idea.

      People like to use me as a proxy for the campaign and/or the candidate, so they tell me all the things they've wanted to say. Good or bad.

        Most of the time, I don't mind. But sometimes, I'd rather not talk about it. So I change the subject, or find a way to leave the convo.

          The exception is at conferences or events where I'm speaking. I expect people to talk about it there. I invite it.
